On 24–25 August 2026, Assistant Professor Dr. Sanya Kenaphoom, Lecturer in the Public Administration Program at Rajabhat Maha Sarakham University and Director of the DR.KEN Institute of Academic Development and Promotion, served as a guest speaker on “Writing Research Articles with AI.”

The session formed part of the training project titled “The Ethical Use of Artificial Intelligence (Generative AI) in Research and Work Development,” held at the Rachawadee Meeting Room, Vachira Phuket Hospital, Phuket Province.

Organized by the hospital’s Medical Research and Innovation Center, the project aimed to strengthen personnel’s knowledge, understanding, and practical skills in using Generative AI to support research and innovation while maintaining academic integrity and complying with relevant laws and ethical standards.

The training covered the application of AI throughout the research process, including developing research topics and questions, structuring articles, analyzing and organizing information, and reviewing academic quality. Participants were encouraged to use AI as a supportive tool alongside professional judgment and researcher accountability.

Assistant Professor Dr. Sanya also explained the process of preparing and submitting manuscripts to journals indexed in the Thai-Journal Citation Index (TCI). Key topics included journal selection, author guidelines, manuscript templates, supporting documents, submissions through the ThaiJO system, and revisions based on reviewers’ comments.

The training enhanced participants’ ability to apply artificial intelligence creatively and responsibly in research and academic writing. It also supported a research culture grounded in quality, transparency, and ethics, contributing to the sustainable development of healthcare services and medical innovation.
