JELR and IJSASR Pass Web of Science Editorial Triage, Advance to Full Editorial Evaluation
The Journal of Education and Learning Reviews (JELR) and the International Journal of Sociologies and Anthropologies Science Reviews (IJSASR) have received confirmation from Clarivate that they have passed the Web of Science Editorial Triage stage. Both journals will now proceed to full editorial evaluation, marking an important milestone in their consideration for inclusion in Web of Science.
The Web of Science Editorial Team notified JELR on July 16, 2026, and IJSASR on September 29, 2026. During Editorial Triage, editors review a journal to determine whether it merits a full editorial evaluation. Passing this stage allows both journals to advance to the Editorial Evaluation (quality) stage.
Clarivate notes that the quality evaluation is the most time-consuming part of the assessment process and may take several months. A final decision will be communicated once the full evaluation is complete. In the meantime, the journals can monitor their evaluation status through the Publisher Portal.
Passing Editorial Triage does not constitute acceptance into Web of Science or guarantee a successful outcome in the full evaluation. The final decision will depend on the next stage of assessment.
This progress represents a significant step forward for JELR and IJSASR as they continue their efforts to strengthen scholarly publishing quality and pursue inclusion in an international citation database.
