Director of Doctor Ken Institute Shares Expertise on the Establishment and Management of Academic Journals

On September 18, 2026, Assistant Professor Dr. Sanya Kenaphoom, Lecturer in the Public Administration Program at Rajabhat Maha Sarakham University and Director of the Doctor Ken Institute of Academic Development and Promotion, was invited by the College of Music, Mahasarakham University, to serve as a guest speaker on the topic “Establishing an Academic Journal Outside the Government System.” The lecture was held from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the College of Music, Mahasarakham University.

The lecture was part of the College of Music Journal Development Project: Training on Academic Journal Management and Development, held on September 17–18, 2026. The project aimed to enhance participants’ knowledge of academic journal management, promote the application of such knowledge to improve journal standards, and strengthen academic collaboration among institutions. It also explored approaches to developing the Music Culture and Education (MCE) Journal as a platform for disseminating research findings and scholarly knowledge in music and related disciplines.

The lecture focused on sharing knowledge and practical experience concerning the establishment of academic journals outside the government system. It was designed to provide participants with concepts and approaches that could be applied to developing journal management systems, establishing appropriate organizational and operational structures, and enhancing journal operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to academic standards.

This invitation reflects the role of the Doctor Ken Institute of Academic Development and Promotion in disseminating expertise in academic journal management, advancing scholarly development, and building collaborative networks with educational institutions.
